Make your title meaningful. When you have such a short word count overall, you can add extra meaning in the title itself.
Be as original as you can; revisit your draft and think: How else might this story play out?
Think about endings/beginnings. The first and last words/sentence of a short short story are so important in setting the tone and adding to the meaning of the story. Read your story again and again. As yourself: Is this the best opening? Where does the story really start? Does the story end in the right place without a contrived conclusion?
